Advanced technology without enterprise-size complexity.
AI, Automation & Custom Software
Built Around Your Business
AAS designs practical AI systems, automation, software,
databases and web applications tailored to the way your business
actually operates — not the way a product catalogue assumes it does.

What we do
Technology that solves a specific problem
Most technology projects fail not because the software was badly
built, but because nobody agreed on what it was for. We start with
the problem, and we say so when the answer is simpler than you expected.
Put AI where it saves real time — and nowhere else.
Most businesses have a handful of jobs that eat hours every week: reading documents and typing what they say into another system, answering the same customer questions, moving data between t...
Off-the-shelf software makes you change your process to fit it. Sometimes that is fine. When it is not — when the workaround spreadsheet has become the real system — a purpose-built applicat...
AI that runs on your hardware and keeps your data yours.
If your work involves client records, medical information, legal documents or anything else you would not paste into a public chatbot, you can run capable AI models on your own machine or se...
Applications your team and your customers actually use.
Not a brochure site — a working application. Somewhere your customers log in to see their own information, or your staff log in to get work done, on any device, without training.
A lot of businesses have the same problem: the real numbers are spread across three spreadsheets, an old accounting package and someone's inbox. Nobody is sure which copy is right. We design...
Make the systems you already pay for talk to each other.
You already have tools that each do their job. The expensive part is the person copying data between them. Integration removes that person from the loop — and with them, the typos and the fo...
These are the situations businesses actually describe to us. If one
of them sounds like your week, there is usually something
straightforward to be done about it.
The same information gets typed into three different systems.
Integration or automation removes the retyping, and with it the typos and the version that never got updated.
The business actually runs on a spreadsheet nobody dares touch.
A purpose-built application with real validation, proper access control and a history of who changed what.
Staff spend hours on work a computer could do.
Automate the repetitive part, keep a person on the judgement calls, and measure what it gave back.
We want to use AI but cannot send our data to a third party.
Private AI running on your own hardware. Nothing leaves your network.
Our software subscriptions cost more every year.
Where there is a credible self-hosted equivalent, we will tell you — and where there is not, we will say that too.
The system works, but the person who built it is long gone.
Assessment, documentation, and incremental modernisation that does not require switching everything off.
AI & automation
Applied where it pays for itself: document handling, routine
replies, moving data between systems that will not talk to each
other. We will tell you which of your jobs are worth automating
and which are not.
Private & local AI
Capable models running on your own hardware. Nothing leaves your
network, there is no per-seat subscription, and no third party
is reading your documents. Genuinely useful when your work
involves records you cannot paste into a public chatbot.
Systems you own
Source code, database schema, deployment configuration and
documentation are yours at handover. Dockerised, self-hostable,
and built so someone other than us can maintain it. That is the
arrangement, not a concession.
How it works
Eight steps, and you know where you are in all of them
No month-long silences followed by a reveal. You see progress as it
happens, and the scope is written down before anyone starts building.

We learn how your business actually works — not how a flowchart says it works. What takes too long, what break...
02

We write down exactly what will be built, what it will cost and roughly when. Anything we are not going to bui...

04
Build
The actual development, in visible increments rather than months of silence followed by a reveal.
05

Automated tests, plus deliberate attempts to break it — bad input, missing permissions, the awkward edge cases...

So you can work out roughly what something costs before you talk to
anyone. Final pricing depends on scope, and you get that in writing
before work begins.
Small Business Web / Software Starter
starting at$1,500
A first system, a small tool, or a website that has to do more than sit there.
Private / Local AI Deployment
starting at$2,500
Capable AI running on hardware you own, with your data staying put.

AI & Business Automation
starting at$3,500
Automate a real process end to end, with a person kept in the loop where judgement is needed.
Custom Software / MVP
starting at$7,500
A complete application: database, interface, access control, deployment and documentation.
Not adjectives. Each of these is something you can check at the end
of a project.
You own what we build
Source code, database schema, deployment configuration and documentation are yours at handover. If you want to take it in-house or hand it to someone else, nothing stops you. That is the arrangement, not a concession.
No unnecessary lock-in
We build on open, widely supported technology. Where a proprietary service genuinely is the right answer, we will say so and explain what it would take to move away later.
Private by architecture
Where your data is sensitive, we design so it does not leave your infrastructure in the first place — rather than relying on a third party's promise about how they handle it.
Plain answers about cost
Starting prices are published. Scoped work gets a fixed price before it begins. If something will cost more than expected, you hear it while you can still decide, not afterwards.
AI where it helps, conventional software where it does not
A language model is a poor substitute for a database query and an expensive way to do arithmetic. We will tell you when the boring solution is the right one.
Built to be maintained
Tests, documentation and readable code, on the assumption that someone other than us will eventually need to work on it. Possibly you.
Tell us what you are trying to fix
The first conversation is thirty minutes, free, and has no pitch in it.
We will tell you whether we can help, roughly what it would cost, and
if the honest answer is that you do not need us, we will say that too.
